DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting quality control specialists to test products before, during and after the manufacturing process to ensure that products align with company and legal standards.
- Ensuring that the laboratory instruments are calibrated weekly and maintain calibration records.
- Following laboratory policies and procedures in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO
17025:2017, and ISO 45001:2018.
- Conducting chemical analysis for water treatment, paper technology, and sugar using standard technical service test methods.
- Promoting good laboratory practice (GLP), housekeeping and safety.
- Compiling and interpretation of technical services and interim reports to meet customer and sales requirements.
- Maintaining clear and accurate records of all activities and findings of analysis.
- Conducting a risk assessment to assess materials that pose a hazard before starting work.
- Assisting seniors in conducting projects and reviewing existing technical service test methods.
- Analysing deposit and coupon samples using technical service test methods.
