The short employment periods on my C.V. are due to short term contracts
.No permanent positions came up so I was taking short term contracts to get by.
Which really just entailed me to go in and sort out any faults that they were having. (Troubleshooting Chef)May it be any aspect of the industry, from Staff training, Menu design, Costing or totally re-design of the kitchen.And some positions just used me for the trial period especially over the festive seasons.Also have vast experience in F&B. As it involves with all aspects. A little about myself, I grew up in the industry with my family owning hotels and restaurants.After I matriculated i went to Hotel school (Alpine Heath Resorts, Three Cities Group)Where I studied Hotel Management, After completion I then studied Hotel Cheffing.Which I then went oversees for a few years and continued my career.I have vast all round aspects of the hospitality industry, with over 20 years experience, abroad and locally .And have been Assistant General Manager on many occasions.I have had the opportunity to cook for the Royal family of Lesotho and the King of Swaziland.Some V.I.P's and certain delegates.My strengths lay in taking charge where there seems to be slacking with a hands on manner.Staff moral, and don't mind getting my hands dirty.As for dealing with worldwide clientele, shouldn't be a problem as I already have had dealing with almost every culture.Thank You.And wish to hear from you in the future.RegardsPatrick Smit
