· Creating and updating of spreadsheets from the furnaces’ tonnages and the chemical analysis to obtain the total tonnages tapped, variance etc.
· Creating and updating the bunker layout of hot (or cooled), unbroken and broken chrome slabs.
· Creating and updating of the bunker layout for the broken chrome slabs and for crushed material. Graphically representing of tonnages weighed and compared on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Spreadsheets per size and tonnages, for shipments(exports), recovered material and total daily production.
· While anyone can use a simple SUM or IF formula, I was able to seamlessly write & combine formulas like SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT etc. Apart from knowing the formulas, it was my duty to debug them, audit them and how to use which formula on which data collected.
· By using charts, data collected was communicated effectively and feasibly in a manner at which the executives would understand. Knowing how to pick right type of chart for which situation, combining various charts into one etc.
· I could use built in functions & charting features to understand trend & forecast values from available data collected from molten iron to crushed and recovered chrome.
· Combining the power of Excel with flexibility of other applications like MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint to present and report on analyzed data.
