Currently I work as a dedicated Maintenance Manager overseeing a total of 40 buildings. I deal with all maintenance related issues as well as the obtaining of quotes, dealing and building relationships with various contractors.
I work within a small team of Portfolio Managers and assist them as well as the different Board of Trustees with various maintenance related issues. I assist with small maintenance issues in order to save money for the Body Corporate instead of making use of external contractors.
As the Maintenance Manager I am required to be very hands on, to assist with their 10 year maintenance plans and conduct monthly site inspections. I provide a personalized service to all the owners and Trustees. I make use of a pre-emptive approach which has proven to be paramount in saving costs and assisting Schemes with their maintenance.
