• Help with classroom control + discipline so the teacher can teach
• Prepare teaching aids: charts, photocopies, cutting/laminating materials
• Set up/dismantle equipment for lessons - projectors, science kits, etc
• Work with small groups or 1-on-1 learners who need extra help, especially those who fall behind
• Mark routine classwork/homework under teacher guidance

I had an after class in my yard where I helped children with their school work and school projects. I focused on the kids who were struggling with their homework so they could improve with their work. Spelling competitions was a great thing for me as kids would engage more and were willing to learn as they won small prizes.
