Additional Job functions assigned to me: Receiving and despatch of stock, Logistics, Warehousing and Stock control i.e. industrial/gas/
- All stock that is been received and despatched will be checked with a minimum of 2 signatures from Records Enterprises
- All invoices that are been delivered/collected will be checked by store men/warehouse manager/driver i.e. invoice will have 3 signatures on to ensure correct goods are delivered
- All stock that is to be delivered is to go in allocated despatch cages as requested any stock that is placed in incorrect cage by warehouse manager or store men will be held liable to be replaced at their own expense
- All stock that is to be merchandised in the hardware is to be locked away at all times, stock that is not locked away and goes amiss will be replaced by the relevant person/persons who received the stock
- NO STOCK TO BE LEFT ON THE FLOOR OVER NIGHT OR WEEKENDS
- All stock to be pulled and ready for despatch for the next day
- Invoices and collection slips are to be collected on a regular time interval from the sales office or the sales office are to notify the relevant staff that they are to be collected
- Any stock queries pertaining to invoices are to be brought to the relevant sales person to ensure that there is no delay in the picking of stock
- All stock to be in correct allocated cages for drivers to ensure that they are not delayed in any way
- Any URGENT deliveries are to be brought to the warehouse manager's attention to ensure that the highest priority is given
- All drivers are to have been loaded and checked to ensure that they leave by 7h45 a.m.
- All vehicles are to have a vehicle inspection report done on a Monday and Wednesday failing to do so and there is a fault with any of the vehicles the driver and manager will be held responsible for the repairs
- The vehicles are liable for a routine inspection by management at which if are not up to standards will result in disciplinary action
- Any goods found in delivery vehicles without relevant paper work will be deemed as theft and the driver for the vehicle as well as store men and ware house manager will be held accountable
- All stock is to be packed accordingly in correct bin locations and clearly marked
- Once every two weeks' stock is to be checked and replenished if necessary i.e. industrial stock
- All orders for industrial stock are to be signed off by management and only Records Enterprises official orders will be accepted i.e. pastel generated orders
- Regular stock takes to be done on selected and high priority bins to ensure stock is correct
- Gas stock take to be done on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday
