FG Knights is an FMCG Sales and Merchandising company, supplying products to PnP, Shoprite, Checkers, Spar, Game & Supa Trade.
Suppliers: IMANA Foods, Petrow Foods Epic, Frimax, and SA NATURAL Products.
Role: Responsible for overall operations management of the entire KZN Region, and managing 18 sales representatives.
Weekly reports on deadlines, achievement of monthly goals, presentations on successes for my clients, and weekly meetings with my manager regarding the growth or decline of my clients' sales and volumes.
Negotiating with owners and buyers of retail stores and independent stores on deals, key accounting and free inventory.
Managing and resolving issues for my clients on trade visits with reps and sales reps/merchandisers and what is expected and what feedback needs to be given in a timely manner.
Planning goals for the sales reps to meet deadlines and for myself to meet the needs of the company.
Attending weekly team meetings with my clients to discuss issues such as any service failures and how we can achieve sales and volume for the month.
Category management for my clients in terms of market share and market share to be corrected.
Attending customer meetings for Supa Trade, Spar and Shoprite buyers.
Management of Shoprite & Spar DC & SGX Logistic with stock levels.
