Verify and validate/reject documents with regards to KYC, FICA.
Ensure that the KYC/FICA documents are correctly indexed on the group platform system.
AML Risk Rating verification and vetting FICA/KYC Documents for Entity onboarding etc, Business rules, product rules (general), product supplier or FSP specific rules.
Determining the ultimate beneficial owner of SA companies and legal entities for compliance purposes.
Running of the World-Check screenings (using Refinitiv) on clients & companies to check for adverse media and DPIP/PEP flags, and saving the results to the system. Resolving false hits.
Analysing AML high risks associated with the client. Potential risks are identified and escalated as appropriate.
Assisting advisory managers/planners & assistants with the onboarding of new clients and KYC requirements. This is for all legal entities; Individuals, SA Companies, Offshore Companies, Local Trusts, Offshore Trusts, Partnerships, Charities, Clubs, NGO's & Religious organisations (other legal entities).
Ad-hoc ongoing due diligence and FICA checks.
