Employee Experience and Internal Communications Manager
I occupied this role since April 2020, and after being given greater responsibility and remit, the role evolved into a manager level role in August 2020, albeit the responsibilities remained largely the same as outlined below.
Key responsibilities:
- Overall management of "The Style In Action" (culture) framework, weaving in connections between business activities/offerings and corporate commitments - Diversity and Inclusion, Wellbeing, Community, Recognition and Innovation;
- Establish and oversee a number of employee-led networks which serve to bring the company culture to life through meaningful action (in alignment with business priorities and cultural values);
- Partner with networks to create an annual calendar of initiatives that link to company goals and commitments;
- Work closely with HR and other divisions to project manage and support the execution of initiatives proposed by the employee networks;
- Manage all internal employee facing communications that relate to the employee value proposition and culture;
- Manage and create HR related communications;
- Creation of employee experience related content on social media platforms;
- Contribute towards the global strategy for employee experience;
- Co-lead on global initiatives such as Employee Appreciation Day, global wellbeing events/campaigns, charity campaigns, recognition campaigns and more
April 2019 – April 2020
Compensation and Benefits Analyst
Alongside this role, I prepared and launched a number of wellbeing related initiatives, set up an employee wellbeing champion network, arranged financial education for employees and qualified as a mental health first aider.
- Job profile design and set up for the International business
- Support implementation of new bonus plans for 2019 performance year;
- Assist in roll out and testing of bonus plan configuration within HR system (Workday)
- Bonus mapping and reconciliation
- Running and heavily supporting the annual reward process for multiple countries, working with business leaders to ensure recommendations are made within corporate guidelines aligned to performance reviews
- Presenting annual compensation recommendations to Senior Management for review
- Identifying, documenting and communicating process improvements in a complex matrix environment
- Identifying opportunities to improve the reward offering
- Work closely with benefit brokers to implement competitive benefits and assist in annual renewal activities across multiple countries

Alongside this role, I took it upon myself to design and deliver employee wellbeing initiatives such as financial wellbeing/education, mental health awareness and employee resilience, including supplier management.
Key responsibilities
- Assist strategic HR projects with subject matter experts including compensation and benefits, talent development, employee relations and recruitment
- Support annual talent cycle, leading on the annual compensation review
- Identify and resolve process and procedure issues within the HR division to optimise HR workflows
- HR lead for GDPR and records management
- Design and delivery of employee wellbeing initiatives such as financial wellbeing, mental health awareness and employee resilience, including supplier management
- Work with business divisions to ensure HR procedures are integrated wherever possible
