An aspiring ER Manager with 2+ years experience. I bear knowledge and experience that I specialise in Labour Relations, grievance and discipline management, dispute resolution, excellent investigative and writing skills, representations at the CCMA and bargaining council, extensive knowledge on how to brief Counsel and prepare for Labour Court matters, dealing with urgent Courts, Contempt Court and affidavit drafting. My experience and knowledge is not limited to the Public Service, and far exceeds an average 2+ years experienced individual.
I was fortunate to start my career in one of the most prestigious Departments in South Africa, at the National Treasury as an intern for two years. Upon conclusion of the programme, I was appointed as an Employee Relations Officer which is my current position. I have represented one of the sisterly Departments in a disciplinary hearing wherein the Presiding Officer ruled in my favour, reviewed the Anti-Harassment policy when the Code of Good practice was repealed in 2021 and led in Collective Bargaining matters.
The pinnacle of my internship career was when my seniors all left for greener pastures and I was the only one left with institutional memory therefore I was required to onboard my new seniors, which I did well. To date, there is no compliance report that has ever been submitted late. I pride myself in my work and aspire to learn and teach other on the knowledge and experience I have gained overtime.
I hold a National Diploma in Labour Law (Cum Laude) and an Advanced Diploma in Mediation. I studied at the Vaal University of Technology and ensured I completed my studies in record time.
