I want to work for Ruby Digital because I am currently a final year student studying BCom Marketing Management, majoring in Digital Marketing. I am currently studying one module called Logistics Management 3B which is the remaining module to acquire my degree. I have also completed Logistics Management 2A&B and 3A which lay the foundation of knowledge in supply chain operations and management. I’m looking for a job or an internship to gain professional experience. After visiting your website & learning about vision & business, I’m look forward to applying my academic knowledge and gaining valuable industry skills & experience.
I am a fast & keen learner and have great interest in developing marketing strategies, coordinating a marketing campaign & also creating an efficient flow information infrastructure from business to third party partners & customers. I can adapt to any work environment as I am an enthusiast person.
I have experience in coordinating social events & developing marketing campaign mostly targeting varsity students around Johannesburg, what I have learned from working / collaborating with other students is that the flow of information from the business hierarchy of employees & roles is important & information to flow freely, teamwork & communication among the business is important, everyone must clearly know their roles & responsibilities to best archive end goals of the top leaders. I also have experience of salesmen as stated in my curriculum vitae. The experiences that I have are not from a registered company at that time as they were newly formed by me & other students as we were aspiring to be entrepreneurs. I took a different career direction though as I believe corporate experience is needed first to learn the industry before adding more value to our SA economy by opening your own company. I have Certifications & basic background knowledge in the skills I major in. I have passed digital marketing exceptionally well, in it I learned Search engine optimization, social media marketing, and I have intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point & Teams. I have fundamentals of digital marketing certificate from Google digital skills for Africa and artificial intelligence in 4IR certificate from University of Johannesburg. Additional skills, before studying Bcom Marketing I aspired to do computer science, so I had learned or taught myself programming. I learned web development languages for the front-end programming such as HTML & CSS and partially JavaScript.
My motivation is to acquire & share knowledge in innovative ways that fit well with the company culture of growing young minds. I’m passionate to facing challenges with my problem-solving skills and with an open mind to learn. Please also note that I am open to other positions where my skills & qualifications can be valuable to gain knowledge & experience.
