I am a professional librarian with over 14 years of experience specializing in metadata and digital curation and records and knowledge management in public, academic and research institutions. I hold a bachelor’s degree in library and information science and hope to further my studies in the future. With over five years in supervisory roles, I have strong leadership skills alongside my expertise in records and knowledge management, digital curation, digital repository management and information services in general.

At the University of Fort Hare I worked closely with the Africana Librarian, where we were working with rare books, special collections, donations, African writers’ collection and institutional repository. Our responsibility was to organize all the information in any form, digitization, curation and load it onto the system for easy retrieval and attend to queries from the researchers. I am a curious person who believes in lifelong learning, with a deep commitment to continuous growth and innovation in the field of teaching and learning within the library space.
