I am an experienced professional team lead with many years of experience in leading the technology function. I have applied IT to deliver value to stakeholders across ICT, IT consulting, publishing, retail and consumer goods sectors. I am highly competent in designing and implementing new systems, processes that are fit for purpose while maintaining the performance, integrity, availability and cost-effectiveness of existing technology investments.
I enjoy influencing business and data analysts, IT service desk, application developers, and the project office to collaborate in supporting business goals. I am proud to have played critical roles in executing high risk, high impact digital transformations across multiple work streams including migrating all end-users to cloud computing, implementing ERP systems, establishing governance and compliance within a new IT function.
I started my career as a graduate trainee working across internal sales and IT helpdesk. I moved to an IT consulting role within an audit firm where I gained experience in project assurance across various industries. I then joined a multinational publishing house which operates within SADC and was accountable for their operations i.e. customer experience, warehousing and distribution.
I also was their technology business partner, commissioned to IT investments to business goals. Currently I have oversight on IT Operations and accountable for planning, delivering and supporting technology services to 2 offices, 2 distribution centres and 44 retail stores.
