Tilly Molete

I am Tilly Molete, a highly enthusiastic, self-motivated and disciplined Sustainability Assistant Manager current overseeing a team of four. I have recently completed a salesforce associate certificate that helps me management data and customer relationships to a company. I have a solid background in scientific research, board report writing, data collection and analysis. I possess expertise in natural resource management, sustainable ESG goals, waste management, biodiversity, ecology, fauna and flora management, environmental impact assessments, environmental legislation, climate change, environmental education and environmental management.

I am an accomplished Sustainability Assistant Manager with a wealth of experience in environmental management and team leadership. Currently overseeing a team at Tswalu Kalahari Reserve, I excels in waste management, sustainable governance, and data analysis for board reports. With a background in scientific research and a strong grasp of environmental legislation, I have adept at implementing ESG goals and coordinating projects to achieve long-term sustainability objectives. My dedication to environmental education and proven track record in coordinating impactful initiatives make me a valuable asset in promoting sustainable practices, environmental management and conservation efforts.

I holds an academic background in environmental and conservation sciences. I completed an MSc in Physiology (ecological physiology) from the University of the Witwatersrand, focusing on dietary flexibility in semi-arid environments impacted by climate change. Prior to this, I have attained a BTech in Nature Conservation from Nelson Mandela University, where my research focused on assessing the population status of Tree Ferns. I also holds a National Diploma in Nature Conservation from Tshwane University of Technology, specializing in plant studies, ecology, and resource management. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in scientific research methodologies, environmental impact assessments, environmental management and conservation biology, which has well-prepared for my current role as a Sustainability Assistant Manager.
