I'm a highly driven qualified Diesel Mechanic seeking a full-time position in an engineering field where I can contribute my training analytic skills. With the experience in the mining industry being exposed to hydraulic and pnuematic systems, I am motivated with a proven track record of success in servicing, repairing and maintaining diesel equipment. Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing, recognizing equipment failure and able to work out strategies to prevent future failures.
*Performing preventative maintenance of machinery and repairing diesel ancillary equipment.
*Completing daily maintenance reports and logs.
*Inspecting equipment and scheduling repairs before failure or breakdown, recognize equipment failures and root causes to prevent future failures.
*Disassemble and reassemble engine systems to locate defects, identifying and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.
*Help recondition, repair and replace worn parts such as fuel systems, drive train components, steering systems, suspensions and auto electrical systems.
*Troubleshoot and repair machinery equipment performance faults.
*Prepare correct and complete work orders.
