General Management

1. Administration/Conveyancing/Client Service

• Oversee the day-to-day management and running of the business:
• managing the sales admin & conveyancing process and providing leadership and guidance
• Pre-handover (snags) & Handover process
• NHBRC
• Plans, water & electrical connections - Council
• Successfully implemented a sales management & communication system (Simspro)
• Liaise with bond originators, financial institutions & conveyancers to ensure bond approvals are received on time, and that they are registered without delay

2. Financial & Asset Management

• Oversee Progress Draws – Plot n Plan & Interim Interest calculations
• Occupational rent calculations & statements to clients
• Institutional financial management – Monthly Draw Management 
• Private equity capital raising – Part of the team that successfully raised R10,7m to secure stands in Polokwane
• Member of the Development Management team at MSP with Old Mutual Alternative Investments (OMAI) manages a portfolio within the HIFSA Fund
• I chair the monthly project meetings with OMAI where we act as Development Managers. These meetings determine the strategy and vision that we implement to ensure optimal outcomes for shareholders

Initiating the Project

• Defining the project scope and obtaining approval from stakeholders

Planning the Project

• Liaising with various professionals - town planners, landscape architects, quantity surveyors, structural engineers, civil engineers, electrical engineers & architects for project costs and designs
• Coordinate and chair project meetings with the professional team 

Executing the Project

• Planning and directing project activities to achieve project objectives
• Managing projects time, budget and quality
• Provide leadership and guidance to professional teams and contractors

Monitoring and Controlling the Project

• Update project meeting minutes and ensure actions are taken within appropriate time frames
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and submit a monthly report

Closing the Project

• Management of project filing, archiving and complete documentation control

4. Property Development Sales

• Formulate & Implement marketing strategy when launching new developments with Marketing Team
• Market research & analyses 
• External sales mandate management and relationship
• Manage Internal Sales team with data from CRM
• Control budgets and manage cash flow 

5. Property Management

• Currently, I’m a trustee, representing the developer’s interest in various body corporates and homeowners associations.
• Managed the budget with the property manager
• On behalf of the developer, we ensure that the facilities under management are managed and maintained to a certain standard.
