I have more than 7 years working experience in the academic library i.e. from 2015 - 2019 as IR librarian for North-West University; 2019 - Present working for Cape Peninsula University of Technology as a Librarian: Institutional Repository where I execute a number of duties such as: promote access to information (Open Access), develop the repository, Preservation of information in the IR collections, draft policies, create user manuals, train stakeholders on the IR and Assist with Research and Data Management repository development

I have Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in information science and a National Diploma in library and information studies
