Technician - Ontec Systems The incumbent of a Technician at Ontec Systems requires a diligent and energetic individual with excellent skills who can work under pressure. Technical knowledge and abilities are essential in order to resolve challenging and sophisticated problems. The above mentioned candidate reports directly to the Head of Department (Portfolio) is responsible for:

• Addressing all complaints, queries and job cards from the Key Account Officers and Operations Managers on all technical problems (electrical and plumbing) in buildings such as Shopping Malls, Complex, and Flats etc.
• Perform investigations and root-cause analysis into re-occurring Electrical/Sanitation problems at buildings and offer corrective measures.
• Compile reports on Technical findings addressing queries from portfolio managers/customer.
• Liaising and dealing with the customer/client diligently, upholding the company's image whilst representing the company with professional conduct.
• Carrying-out Electrical repairs/replacement of damaged components, meters or wiring and perform fault finding analysis using schematic diagrams and test meters etc.
• Checking and Testing meters using software's in order to see the programming, vector/phaser diagrams and VT/CT Ratio of a Meter
• Correcting the wrong installations, readings and also making sure that the right information is captured on the system.
• Do fault finding on meters and give report as well as the solution to the faults.
• Lead projects by giving instructions to strategies on how to handle the job and do it effectively on time and giving good results.
• Plan and lead by example as to how the task should be done.
• Assist the supervisor on the daily tasks given, help on planning and finding the solutions
• Meet clients to discuss the issues on the property and also come up with solutions.
