I have 8+ years of experience in the field of Office Administration with 6 of those years have been with Parrot Products PTY Ltd.
Capturing of stock take every morning onto the Parrot system. Compiling quotes and capturing orders for customers. Answering the phone and assisting customers and the Parrot Johannesburg call centre agents with queries.
Scanning all delivery notes onto the Parrot System and emailing it to the clients. Processing credits for standard stock returned from customers and sending all GRN notes for special credits on to the accounts department to be processed. Scanning GRN documents under the credit documents on the Parrot system and taking the GRN to the branch manager to authorise credit.
Collecting quotations for office stationery and then placing the order on the Parrot system when the quotation is approved. Scanning the quotation under the documents when order is placed. Buying coffee, tea and other office requirements for staff welfare.
Collecting quotes for building maintenance. Helping with loading of vehicles for next day delivery. Assisting walk-in clients with their orders and / or explaining our products to them. Making delivery bookings for welknown retailers / distributors of Parrot products.
Advising customers when we are out of stock on items they have ordered, when it will be available and giving an ETA for when we will receive stock. Assisting all our reps with queries, quotations, orders, ETAs on request.
I have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of the Western Cape, with my main subjects being Tourism and Geography.
