I am a 22-year-old male who recently graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Health, Sport, and Physical Education (Honours) and am passionate about engaging in student learning opportunities. I have a deep-rooted history with many different sports including but not limited to Swimming, Field Hockey, Basketball, Rowing, Tennis, Cricket and Javelin.
Throughout my degree, I have experienced a wide range of school and co-curricular contexts, which have prepared me to successfully contribute to my future school. During my final professional experience, I was a full-time teacher for 12 weeks and received 23 ‘Exceeding Graduate Level’ on my final report. In this experience I taught Three Health (year 10), Three Science (year 9) and Six HPE (year 8/9) classes a week.
For these classes, I was expected to create lesson plans for all, book school resources/spaces, cross class moderate, report any behavioural incidents, attend parent teacher interviews, and mark all assessment tasks.
My most relevant education is my recently graduated University degree which is a Bachelor of Health, Sport and Physical Education (Honours) P-12 from the University of Queensland.
This education degree qualifies me to teach from Prep to Year 12 Physical Education and Health and classroom teaching. My minor specialisation is in science enabling me to have a deep knowledge of the teaching of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geology.
