I am a current 3rd year Bachelor of Social Work student at RMIT looking to expand upon work experience in related fields of work. I am a 24 year old man originally from Alice Springs and I consider myself to be reliable, earnest and would appreciate any opportunity given to me.
I have worked primarily in social services/support roles being a Youth Worker at University College (University of Melbourne) and a disability support assistant within both a primary school and high school. I have also just completed my first social work student placement working for Berry Street in their Home Based Care team.
I am currently working towards getting my Bachelor's Degree in social work, being in my third year. Through my work experience/student placement I have also been able to complete training around mental health first aid, suicide prevention and First Nation's cultural awareness.
