PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

• During 25 years of consulting engineering, there have been opportunities to study and examine a wide variety of metal alloys, including; mild steels, cast irons, stainless steels, nickel alloys, copper alloys, and aluminum alloys. Minor cases involved ceramic, polymeric and composite materials. Work linked to research or product development, corrosion protection/management, maintenance, quality (QA/QC), production and technical sales.
• Participated in several projects (scientific and technological), sometimes as the leading person. Strong links with the Academy.
• Consulting engineering work has taken him to face welding procedures specification and analysis of welding problems, as well as its interaction with corrosion. NDT analysis (UT, PMI, Holiday test and X-Ray) as tools for materials inspection.
• Worked for a leading Oil & Gas EPC company in the Middle East for almost two years (WORK EXPERIENCE topic, item IV). It should be highlighted the activities of material specifications, as well as the revision of these specifications proposed by WORLEY PARSONS (consulting company specialized in the subject).
• Free-lancer consultant to BV (Bureau Veritas) and ADNOC group since 2016 (a specific topic on page 7).
• Working knowledge of international standards and codes (ASTM, API, NACE, ASME, ANSI).
• Material selection standards (ISO 21457, NORSOK M-001, API 571), as well as standards linked to Structural/Mechanical Integrity (API 579, 580, 581 and 584).
