Thanks for visiting! :) I'll give you a short summary: I've been working as a freelance translator since 2019, and I've been a language teacher (English and Portuguese) for 2 years. I have worked as an interpreter and translator at the Amazon Museum (Museu Amazônico), translating some regional films.

My greatest passion is to help the world become more connected. I translate the texts in such a way that they can travel around the world and reach the reader in a culturally appropriate way.

I am Brazilian, but I grew up in Spain, which gave me a lot of cultural experience. I have moved around a lot throughout my life and this has allowed me to connect with people from different cultures and understand the importance of language as a bridge of connection, knowing that it can bring people closer or take them away, so I could see that literal translations left people confused.

Travelling around the world wasn't the only thing that allowed me to make these connections; when I worked as a Portuguese teacher for foreigners, I had a piece of each culture in the classroom, which opened up my view of the world and made me learn different ways of saying the same thing!

I have a good knowledge of linguistics, education, sexuality, games, etc. I also have a good understanding of the structure of the languages I work with, as it is important to understand them in order to teach them effectively.
