Position: Health, Safety and Environment Manager Oct 2013 – Oct 2023
⮚ Conduct occupational safety and health (OSH) audit in the workplace and in employers’ premises,
⮚ Made recommendations for corrective actions and monitor the status of implementation and effectiveness to prevent loss to organization.
⮚ Provide guidance to organizations including NSITF on emergency policies and procedures to protect the lives and property of residents, staff and visitors.
⮚Increase staff awareness on occupational safety and health.
⮚ Coordinate accident investigation, OSH audit/inspection, OSH awareness/enlightenment and other related HSE activities within the organization.
⮚ Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated to all staff.
⮚ Prepare and coordinate training programs to maintain an acceptable level of awareness and knowledge within the organization and also with clients.
⮚ Prepare and compile monthly, quarterly and annual reports on accident investigation, OSH audit/inspection and OSH awareness/enlightenment and make presentations to management/staff.
⮚ Ensure an effective fire safety management system are in place.
⮚ Supervise fire drills for emergency preparedness and response.
