I am a recent Biology graduate with a Bachelor of Science from Universidad Ricardo Palma in Lima, Peru. I have experience in wildlife and environmental fields, including serving as a Technical Assistant and Team Member for different projects. I also volunteered for the "Collared Storm-Petrel Conservation and Rehabilitation Program," where I contributed to animal rehabilitation and release.
I have technical skills, including proficiency in ArcGIS, laboratory techniques, fieldwork, data collection and analysis, and scientific writing. I've also demonstrated leadership skills as an elected student leader and founder of a university program for the management of wild animals.
I have experience in technical assistance and team member roles related to ecology and environmental research projects. As a Technical Assistant at Universidad Ricardo Palma, I was responsible for cataloging and organizing over 5000 specimens, improving accessibility and facilitating research efforts. Additionally, I was responsible for the botany exhibition and created an interactive infusion workshop.
As a Team Member for Proyecto Chirikyacu, I reviewed collected data in research and identified bird, mammal, and insect species, anthropogenic, and environmental sounds with ARBIMON. I was also promoted to Validation Supervisor from my previous role as Data Validator.
In addition to my professional experience, I have volunteered for the "Collared Storm-Petrel Conservation and Rehabilitation Program," where I contributed to animal rehabilitation, animal banding, and control, maintenance, and release efforts.
