An industrial designer with 7 years experience, I am a hands-on problem solver with attention to detail and a high level of organizational skill. Most of my positions have been that of a senior designer, taking a lead role in projects. With design for manufacturing as a central theme of my career so far, I have worked on welded assemblies, folded sheet metal, aluminum extrusions, CNC machined wood and cabinetry, as well as a small amount of injection molded and thermoformed plastic assemblies.
In 2018 I received a master's degree in interdisciplinary design, which greatly increased my capacity to perform research, collaborate with other design professionals, and solve problems from a more systematic perspective.
As far as technical skills, I use Solidworks and Fusion 360 for 3D CAD, render with Keyshot, and I can use the Adobe suite of design software at an intermediate to high level. I have experience with rapid prototyping as well: 3D printing with PLA, 3-axis CNC router, and CO2 laser cutting and engraving.
