• Starting from zero, no website, no relationships, within 5 months built an order bank and invoiced sales more than $400k.
• Created an order bank of over $1.3million.
• Created $1,250k of quotes in 5 months.
• Worked with the owners developing the sales strategy and executing beyond expectations.

Headquartered in the UK, Kee Safety is a leading global supplier of components and systems for railings, barriers, roof edge protection and fall prevention.

Highlights

• After 9+ years with Kee Safety, grew the Canadian operation from $1.9M in 2011 to $4.9M in 2020.
• Worked with UK Directors on a high-value acquisition of Calgary-based company High Engineering, and served as its GM for 12 months.
• Reoriented the Canadian operation from underperformance in 2011 to a major revenue contributor for the global business.

After strong performance and growth in the role of General Manager, earned a promotion to spearhead the rapid and successful launch of new products in the US and Canadian markets. Rolled out and drove progress of the business development plan for North America as a central resource for the field sales team.

Kee Safety Ltd.

I held an all-encompassing leadership role over the strategic, operational and financial performance of Kee Safety’s operations in Canada, I grew beyond previous success in sales to hold complete P&L responsibility for the business. I balanced oversight of Kee Safety operations in Toronto with the role of GM over the newly acquired entity High Engineering based in Calgary.

• Strategic Leadership: I led the team, processes, and culture for the Canadian operation, while maintaining a continuous focus on opportunities to improve performance and profitability.
• Business Acquisition: I was highly involved in the acquisition of Calgary based High Engineering. I partnered with senior management in the UK to complete the due diligence necessary to acquire and integrate the company, secure its engineering intellect and rebuild its operating model. Transformed the new acquisition from consistent losses to $250K in profit within year 1.
• Business Acumen: I demonstrated a high level of proficiency in all aspects of business operation, including sales, leadership, P&L management, financial decision making, human resources, long-term strategy, performance management and other priorities.
• Finance & Budget Management: Leveraged internal data toward monthly sales forecasting, quote activity, sales pipelines, and new strategic product sales strategy

Kee Safety North America

I joined Kee Safety as a subject matter expert on fall protection products and services, playing an instrumental role as the authority in a key product area and driving the company’s entry into the North American market.
