First thing coming into work I had to get my cleaning cart ready for the day, that included mixing and getting my cleaning products ready, towels, sheets, ect. Then check what rooms had to be done for the day, going to each check out and taking all soiled bedding out and towels replacing with new ones, then sweep, scrub, mop and polish the floors, following vacuuming, dust, and polish all furniture and fittings, empty clean trash containers, make up beds. Sort, wash, load and unload laundry, folding of all laundry.
Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements. Cleaning in the lobby if needed.

Welcoming groups of holiday makers at their starting point, keeping tally of each guest and we would get 400-500 a day and answering any questions they had about the NWT, arranging outings for certain tourists that would have liked so for school groups, business groups and also lone tourists, opening and closing of the building, cleaning of the bathrooms and the building itself, making sure the campgrounds were well kept, also checking up on the campers to make sure everything was alright from time to time, kept an eye out for wildlife within the premises, and if there were any made sure everyone was brought to the safe area and waited for wildlife officers, did all the book keeping for the building and made sure it was all sent out biweekly to the head offices, writing down all reports and maintaining records.

Accomplishments: I was able to gain office management, because I was the only one on for a whole season at one point. Also tourism investment, one of the accomplishments that I brought to the building was tour guide computers for the tourists to be able to look up certain sites within the North West Territories that were related to tourism.

Packing egg trays on top of one another and each tray weighing up to 25lbs doing 80 trays per pallet, and did 5 pallets per day, the use of the pallet jack, fixing of conveyors, conveyor belt and also conveyor tower, wrapping pallets. Cleaning up my conveyor and area, writing up reports for the poultry farm, cleaning of the barn weekly.
