I'm a Materials Scientist with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and over 10 years of experience exploring how advanced materials can power cleaner and more efficient technologies. My work has taken me around the world leading and contributing to projects in nanocatalyst synthesis, ion-exchange membrane development, and electrochemical device testing and fabrication, giving me extensive expertise on structure-property-performance analysis. I feel most engaged when I’m solving practical problems, whether that means fine-tuning an experiment, designing new setups, or helping others navigate technical and theoretical challenges.
Over the years, I’ve also gained deep hands-on experience with a wide range of advanced characterization tools, developing, operating, and troubleshooting equipment to support reliable, data-rich experimentation.
Currently, I’m a researcher at Simon Fraser University (SFU) and a visiting scientist at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), contributing to clean energy innovation through experimental research and collaboration. I'm also expanding my skills in data analytics through a program at BCIT to better connect experimental science with smart, data-driven decisions.
Outside work, I’m a nature lover who finds balance in Pilates and the rhythm of dragon boat paddling. Whether on the water or in the lab, I’m driven by curiosity, teamwork, and the joy of continuous learning.
