Over fifteen years of varied cooking and management experience in both small and large establishments. Ran my own cafe for 4 years up until this last spring of 2023 inside a hotel in Sooke; sous chef at a farm to table restaurant overtop Pedder Bay called Glenrosa; Sous chef in the busy Victoria Inner Harbour (LeLidos Bistro); 2nd cook at Butchart Gardens in the dining room for two seasons; and most recently organised a group called Chef to Farm Co-Op for private and public chef events to just name a few places from my repetoir. I specialize in local meats, vegetables and produce from Vancouver Island to Vancouver mainland regions and religously talk about the difference of fresh from the grocery store in comparison to fresh from the farm ingredients. I also have been working as an overnight support worker at a BC Housing site in Sooke for 3 nights a week and research social work/naturopathic healing methods in order to help those with mental health and addiction problems.
