Intermediate Software Developer at The Beyond Group (2025-01 – 2026-06)
Frontend-focused Software Developer for high-growth DTC brands
- Built a sitewide-sale automation system that replaced hours of manual, error-prone edits with a one-switch launch. Activating a single metaobject and automatic discount conditionally applied all product-page, collection, pricing, and UI changes across the storefront, cutting sale launch and takedown from hours to minutes and making sitewide promotions repeatable.
- Led the redesign of Hiya's main collection page, building a new grid section from the ground up with inline subscription add-to-cart, Intelligems A/B/C test infrastructure, and Barba.js SPA transitions with transition-aware analytics, plus a reusable metaobject-backed bundle-card component (combined pricing, quick-add-to-cart, back-in-stock handling).
- Engineered Core Web Vitals and PDP performance gains on MUD\WTR, covering in-head image preloading with fetchpriority and DPR-aware srcset, Barba.js asset prefetching for near-instant flavor transitions, and eliminating a ~280ms carousel-init delay by removing a deferred Alpine nextTick from the gallery mount path.
- Led MUD\WTR's migration from product-based to variant-based product logic for the Nourish protein launch. Re-architected a core data model the storefront had never used variants for, and updated PDP, cart, and selection logic end to end to support a multi-axis variant matrix (blend × size × subscription).
- Led privacy, consent, and security remediation for Hu Kitchen (Mondelez brand): implemented OneTrust consent with GTM and Google Consent Mode to block analytics and targeting cookies pre-consent, and cleared ~90 findings in a Mondelez security audit (jQuery XSS upgrades, CSP hardening, cookie-flag fixes). Migrated off deprecated checkout.liquid to Checkout Extensibility, rebuilding tracking (Elevar, GTAG, custom GTM pixel, Rakuten) with zero loss of continuity.
Junior Software Developer at The Beyond Group (2022-06 – 2024-12)
Frontend-focused Software Developer for high-growth DTC brands
- Architected a component-based storefront system for OLIPOP (60+ reusable UI components and section wrappers under a namespaced convention), partnering with design on the brand's first component-driven patterns that later pages and campaigns were built on.
- Co-engineered two press-covered celebrity launches under high-traffic conditions: led the front-end build for OLIPOP's first national campaign, "Real Love Makes Us" with Camila Cabello, and was one of two engineers on the Our Place × Selena Gomez cookware launch, covering product and collection builds, a JavaScript-heavy collection page, bundle logic, QA, traffic prep, and deployment.
- Was among the most active contributors across multiple DTC storefront codebases (Our Place, MUD\WTR, Hu Kitchen), shipping and maintaining production features for nationally recognized consumer brands.
- Ran 100+ Intelligems A/B experiments and delivered WCAG / ADA accessibility remediation across multiple DTC storefronts (MUD\WTR, Hu Kitchen, Hiya, Kiki Milk), covering PDP and homepage variants, modal focus-trap behavior, screen-reader labeling, and keyboard accessibility flagged in third-party audits (Allyant, AudioEye).
