With over 2 years of experience working with young children, I am passionate about fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment where every child can thrive. I specialize in designing age-appropriate activities that support emotional, cognitive, and social development. My strong communication, patience, and creative planning skills allow me to build meaningful connections with children and their families.

I am dedicated to supporting early learning and development through play-based strategies and a child-centered approach.

I have hands-on experience working with children aged 3 to 12 through roles in summer camps, public library programs, and daycare settings. At Camp Couchiching, I led daily group activities and supported social-emotional development in a fun, safe environment. I also created engaging programs at Orillia Public Library and worked in fast-paced customer service roles where I developed strong communication and teamwork skills.

I hold a diploma in Child and Youth Care from Georgian College, where I gained deep knowledge of child development, behavior strategies, and inclusive care. My coursework focused on trauma-informed practice, child psychology, and programming for diverse needs. I also completed a placement that allowed me to apply my skills directly in a child-centered environment.
