Hi there! I’m a skilled and compassionate Youth Care Worker with hands-on experience supporting children and youth in both structured and dynamic environments. I take pride in building strong, trusting relationships and creating safe, engaging spaces where kids can thrive.
I love finding fun and creative ways to connect—whether it’s through crafts, outdoor adventures, or imaginative play. Outside of work, I’m passionate about traveling and exploring new cultures, which I believe adds a playful and open-minded energy to everything I do. I’m dependable, nurturing, and always ready to jump into action with care and creativity.
I have several years of experience working as a Youth Care Worker, supporting children and adolescents with diverse needs in a group home setting. My role involves creating structured routines, responding to emotional and behavioral challenges with patience and empathy, and fostering a safe, supportive environment where kids can build confidence and life skills. I’m trained in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques, and I’m comfortable managing high-pressure situations while maintaining a calm, compassionate presence.
This work has strengthened my ability to connect with young people, communicate effectively with families and professionals, and adapt to each child’s unique needs and personality.
I’m currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, which has deepened my understanding of child development, behavior, and emotional regulation—knowledge I apply every day in my work with children and youth. I’ve also studied Art History and Museum Studies, which has nurtured my creativity and love for hands-on, educational activities. This blend of academic experience helps me bring both structure and imagination to the care I provide, whether I’m supporting a child through emotional challenges or planning engaging, arts-based activities that spark curiosity and joy.
