I am well versed in implementing and designing experimental procedures using:
a) Protein/Enzyme characterization, downstreaming techniques including column packing; and cation exchange, anion exchange, affinity, and size exclusion chromatography, centrifugation, and ultrafiltration; HPLC and UV-Vis spectrophotometer.
b) Electrophoretic Analysis, DNA and RNA based molecular biology techniques. Sound with techniques like ELISA, PCR, Cell Culture, qPCR, VIDAS and Bax-PCR, restriction enzyme digestions, protein expression, enzyme activity assays., Biochemical Characterization and Immobilization techniques.
c) Experience in optimization, characterization and validation of microbial upstream and downstream processes.
d) Enzyme Technology including biochemical methods of enzyme assay.
e) Microbial isolation and their biochemical characterization.
f) Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and statistical softwares like Origin, SigmaPlot and
GraphPad Prism.
g) Experience working in and leading multi-disciplinary projects, Excellent project management, planning and leadership skills with strong analytical, technical, and computer skills.
h) Experience in writing federal grants.
