Connor Ismond

I went to college to become a teacher right out of high school at Medicine Hat College. I received a full scholarship there for soccer, I continued to coach throughout my time there. I moved back to Saskatoon about 4 years ago and found out what I really wanted to do: become a registered nurse and work on the pediatric oncology ward. I worked for two years sat P&H MIlling group as a warehouse worker who also worked a bit in the lab there testing products. I am looking for work for the summer to save up money to be able to pay for the nursing program I start in august 2023.

I've worked as a laborer from laying concrete to working in a warehouse/lab to working in trenches laying sewer and water piping. I am hard-working and learn quickly when given the opportunity to learn a new task. Learning on the fly and catching on quickly has been the trend in all the past jobs I have had.

I have taken two years of education and a year of pre-recs for the nursing program.
