- As a housekeeper my duties include entering guest rooms, talking to guests, making up guest rooms, stripping beds, taking out the garbage, cleaning the bathrooms, making up the bed, dusting, vacuuming, refilling the mini fridge in rooms.
- I've also helped out during turn down service, getting the rooms ready for guests who are getting ready to have a quiet evening/night, turning down the corners of the bed, dimming the lights.
Housekeeping Room Attendant at The Dorian Hotel, Marriott Hotels (2022-06 – 2024-06)
- As a housekeeper my duties included, entering guest rooms, talking to guests, stripping rooms, taking out the linen/ towels, garbage and recycling, cleaning the rooms, making the beds, bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
- At the Dorian it is two hotels in one, so I knew both the CourtYard side of the hotel and the Autograph side of the hotel.
- Helping out the houseperson as well if they needed help with guest requests.
- Was trained on opening duties in the housekeeping department, by helping out the supervisor's.
- I also won employee of the month for the month of January 2023.

- As a housekeeper my duties included cleaning guest rooms, making beds, cleaning the bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming, helping out colleagues.
- As a house person, my duties included guest requests, cleaning the public washrooms, vacuuming the guest hallways, restocking the pool towels, cleaning the pool, sweeping and mopping, taking out the garbage, cleaning the pathways outside of the hotels from and garbage and clearing the pathways during the winter months from snow and ice.

- In housekeeping I was able to work all the different shifts and most of the positions as well.
- Day shift, was cleaning the guests rooms, helping out my co-workers, making beds, cleaning washrooms.
- Evening shift, I was a house person, doing guest calls, helping out the housekeeping team if they needed any assistance.
- Cleaning public areas of the hotel, unloading the linen truck, moving our bins of clean and dirty linen to all floors of the hotel.
