Fazia Farik

I am a graduate student in the Master of Public Policy and Administration program specializing in Social Change Leadership. I have experience supporting applied research projects, including literature reviews, data analysis, and policy research, with a focus on equity, decolonial practices, substance use and recovery, and environmental issues such as plastic reduction. My volunteer work includes supporting campaigns, tutoring, and contributing to initiatives that advance social and racial equity. I am committed to learning and applying culturally safe and patient-centered approaches in healthcare and community research settings.

I have experience supporting applied research projects in Canada and internationally, including literature reviews, data analysis, and policy research. I have volunteered with community organizations, political campaigns, and educational initiatives, contributing to projects focused on social equity, decolonial practices, substance use and recovery, and environmental sustainability. I am skilled in data management, project coordination, and communicating findings to diverse audiences.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) in Canada, specializing in Social Change Leadership. My coursework and projects focus on Canadian and international contexts of systemic inequities, decolonial approaches, health and social policy, and equity-driven research methods.
