My name is Georgina Silva, I am 45 years old, with 2 kids, I decided to give myself some time to pursue my interest in cooking, so even though I have no previous commercial kitchen experience, I have some cook skills, I am a quick learner, and self-directed.
My recent experience is in education focused on early childhood development and Childcare here in Canada, before that in Mexico I worked mainly in banking, finance, savings, and collection accounts, as well as personnel management and administration of financial, material, and human resources.
For now, I would like to spend some time dabbling in a line cook position and pursuing my interest in food preparation.
I have a Degree in Business Administration that I finished in 2003.
Last year I finished my Early Childhood Development Certificate at Portage College.
And recently this year I complete the courses “Advanced food handler certification” and “ProServe, Liquors staff training.
