  • Set up and calibrate precision measurement tools, including height gauges, dial gauges, and micrometers, to assess bearing seat alignment (BSA) and bearing seat height (BSH).
  • Support tolerance analysis and dimensional validation using GD&T principles.
  • Collect and analyze measurement data, compiling results in Excel to facilitate comparison between actual and target specifications and generating static hysteresis curves for individual samples.
  • Conducted performance validation of aftermarket and used tensioners for OEMs (GM, Ford, John Deere, JLR) to ensure compliance with post-operation specifications.
  • Performed end-of-line functional testing and leak testing on water pumps for Toyota, CoolIT, Dell and Liteon products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve dimensional variation and support design convergence during prototype and validation phases.
  • Coordinate Measurement Systems Analysis(MSA), including Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) studies.
  • Update inspection documentation due to engineering changes, including gauge instructions, control plans and maintain and update the gauge calibration laboratory scope.
  • Ensure effective communication with managers, supervisors, engineering, and production employees.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T and apply SPC principles.

  • Act as a point of contact to Magna Quality Department – Tier 1 OEM to Newmarket Assembly plant Magna.
  • Handle customer complaints – Develop and submit 8D report (Containment Actions, Root Cause Analysis (5 why and Fishbone diagram), Permanent Corrective Action and Preventive Action).
  • Collaborated with cross-functional design and tooling teams to ensure plastic parts met functional, fitment, and aesthetic (gap/flush) requirements for interior seating systems and exterior mirror caps.
  • Collaborated with design and tooling teams to ensure plastic part designs met functional and aesthetic requirements for interior and exterior applications.
  • Evaluated part fitment, alignment, and surface quality to support gap and flush targets and perceived quality requirements.
  • Inspected cosmetic surfaces for Class A/B defects including scratches, flow lines, and color variations in visible components.
  • Manage all the non-conformance and follow up with the corrective action, root cause analysis (RCA & CAPA), 8D report from the supplier and issue RMA (Tier 1 OEM to Honda and Magna, Tier 2 OEM to TS Tech Canada).
  • Liaised with clients on all quality issues during design, procurement and production matters.
  • Supported tooling validation and first article inspections (FAI) for plastic components during new product introduction.

  • Designed and optimized 2D/3D models for submersible pumps and motors, including structural analysis.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to resolve design challenges and improve supplier quality
  • Inspected prototypes for defects (e.g., delamination, sink marks) and ensured dimensional accuracy.
  • Reviewed CAD models to verify dimensional requirements and manufacturability.
  • Supported dimensional validation for part alignment and gap/flush considerations.
  • Worked with engineering teams to assess fitment and alignment issues.
  • Tracked quality KPIs and ensured timely closure of customer and supplier issues
  • Supported product launches by addressing design and manufacturing issues.
  • Performed Root cause analysis using 5 whys, Fishbone Diagram and implemented corrective action for supplier issue.
