Hortense Lingjaerde

I am a Swiss native film director, writer and producer from Geneva. I graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2016 with a BA in Liberal Arts, before enrolling at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts where I completed an MFA in Film & Television Production (2019). In the Fall of 2020, I returned to USC School of Cinematic Arts to teach a Documentary Production class.

Since early 2021, I have been living in Vancouver where I have been pursuing work in the film industry and continue to develop my own projects.

I have worked on a great many film productions whether it is feature, shorts, music videos, commercial, etc. in various roles. I have experience in directing, cinematography, editing, script supervision and writing and have had some exposure to color grading and sound mixing.

I have a BA from Sarah Lawrence College (where filmmaking was my principle area of study) and have an MFA in Film & TV production from USC School of Cinematic Arts.
