- Actively decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and implants for proper cleanliness and functionality for each procedure
- Actively assemble, disassemble and sterilize the surgical instruments as well as checking for completeness and functionality to help prepare the physicians for their next surgical procedures.
- Execute perfect decontamination process by removing bioburdens from the surgical instruments and implants to prevent cross contamination with other sterile surgical instruments and to refrain from compromising each patient’s safety.
- Act with professionalism by communicating with the doctors, dental assistants, nurses, and medical professionals regarding which instruments they will use for their next procedure in order to maintain effective organization for the clinic.
- Dynamically maintain records and documents of sterilized equipment for proper communication of which devices have been reprocessed.
