Jennifer Velez

I have taken time to focus on my family and my personal goals. During this time I have volunteered in many areas and have learned multiple skills to help in future jobs. I am passionate about seeing people thrive and how I can be apart of that.

I am driven, reliable and motivated to learn new skills.

I have taken a break from the “paid” workforce to focus on my family and personal goals. I have volunteered as a PAC secretary, Sunday school teacher and youth worker in the past few years.

These volunteer jobs have given me skills to work with a team, record and keep paperwork, schedule meetings and other tasks. I have needed to multi-task.

My most relevant education being;

BA in pastoral leadership with a major in youth ministry from PLBC.

Youth probation courses- JIBC

I have just taken a Worksafe first aid course to further my skill set.

I have more experience than formal education as I am looking to change and open to other careers and my goals have changed over the years. I am a motivated and quick learner who is reliable and will work hard to accomplish the job that needs to be done. If I don't have the skillset I would learn and find them out.
