Production Supervisor - Process - Lactalis Canada - Belleville, ON

Reporting to the Production Manager I oversee the operations of the night shift Process department, which generally includes the finishing of production from the afternoon shift, sanitation operations of the night shift and assisting the day shift Supervisor with the start-up operations in the morning. I ensure that the proper sanitation procedures are followed and done so safely. I ensure that all employees have all required tools and information to perform their tasks.

I complete all paperwork once the afternoon shift Supervisor leaves for the day. I then communicate all numbers and happenings from my shift via my daily report.

Production Supervisor - Flint Packaging - Vaughan, ON

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager I oversaw the Production department on my shift. This included any production issues, troubleshooting, arranging of personnel ensuring high output while maintaining a high level of quality. I oversaw the general day-to-day cleanliness of the plant floor, machinery and facility.

Conflict resolution and ensuring all employees had the tools, etc. that they required to perform their tasks are part of my routine. I was single handedly responsible for the Predictive Maintenance program in house, including training, purchasing the required measurement tooling, performing the predictive measurements and recording. I would then determine the degree of wear in machine parts and, either make recommendations for the replacement of parts that are worn or determine which parts will require replacement and at what interval.

Security Supervisor - Gateway Casinos - Sudbury, ON

Reporting directly to the Security Shift Manager I oversee the daily operations of the Security department on my shift, including scheduling, health & safety, medical incidents, as well as the general day-to-day security of the gaming floor and facility. Reporting to the General Manager I was responsible for all production, quality and safety within the plant. 4 Supervisors, 2 Schedulers, The Shipping department and Receiving department reported directly to me, as well as all plant production employees indirectly. Quality and production were monitored daily and weekly and shared with employees, as well as the expectations.

Co-managed the operations of approximately 35 couriers, including scheduling, route assignments, payroll and issue resolutions.

Shared responsibilities for the overall management of the property, including maintenance, seasonal necessities, and cleaning crews. Ensured adherence to safety guidelines through training, coaching and discipline. Ensured customer satisfaction by meeting production level quotas, ensuring that any premium services were being received, and consistently looked for methods to improve.
