I'm Mandy! 🙋🏽‍♀️

A passionate UX Designer who loves creating user-friendly products for real people. As a designer, I empathize with people to create user-friendly experiences and use my background in visual design to create intuitive and innovative solutions. 💡

I’m experienced in developing visionary concepts, conducting user research, and establishing product frameworks through the use of animated and interactive prototypes. 📱

My love for studying people, and learning about their behaviour and thinking patterns led me to my career in UX Design, and enables me to dive into the nitty gritty of user research. I enjoy working with others, collaborating in teams, and believe the best design solutions should flow effortlessly for the user. 🎨

Experience

I'm a UX Designer based in Vancouver, Canada currently working for the non-profit MUWSEF. I have experience designing for web & mobile platforms, iOS applications, and responsive web design. Prior to my career change into UX Design, I worked as a teacher for seven years. As a teacher I constantly worked to organize information and present creative and engaging lessons according to my students learning levels. Having to empathize, understand, and test students to best see how effective each lesson was, has enabled me to bring a detail oriented and curious perspective to UX Design.
