I have production experience, having worked as a Production Coordinator at Framestore, which specializes in visual effects, and I am currently a Line Producer at BMAD Technologies, which specializes in virtual reality and augmented reality projects. I have experience managing teams, performing administrative duties, and working with clients.
I also worked at WatchMojo, which is a YouTube channel that has a whole network of channels. I worked primarily on JrMojo, their children's channel, and my role as a Producer and Channel Manager was to generate content ideas and see them through production and post-production.
Finally, I'm also a writer and in addition to writing many of the JrMojo scripts, I've worked in a freelance capacity over the last few years. Specifically, I wrote for the children's gaming console TekyGo!
As a writer at TekyGo! I had to come up with game ideas that incorporated a storyline as well as a learning outcome. And then worked with the development team in order to make the whole game functional.
I also wrote for the app-based game, “Ripple.” In this position, we were assigned social media influencers to write a game around. This included reviewing their content, coming up with story ideas that also allowed for proper use of the game mechanics, and writing the entire script.
Finally, I also worked on two independent documentaries. In 2014, I co-wrote, co-produced, and co-directed a documentary on the Charter of Quebec Values. I also subsequently wrote, directed, and produced an independent documentary called “Madhu’s Saris” which focused on Madhu, a woman who immigrated from India to Canada, and who tells the story of her life through her saris.
I would love to discuss further the specific contributions I could make to your team.
