-Management of databases and computer-based data logs
-Coordination of sensory panels of large groups of people
-Analysis of beer, water, raw materials and spirits, including sensory, chemical analysis, and microbiological analysis.
-Development of standards of raw materials to maintain cross brand quality
-Quality control and communication with chemical and boutique ingredient suppliers to ensure raw materials meet specifications
-Identification of problems across the brewery and implementation of solutions using creative thinking and coordination of teams across departments. Explanation of complex scientific concepts across an array of scientific and non-scientific audiences
-Reviewing literature to help identify potential solutions to complaints / problems
-Time management to achieve weekly tasks while incorporating new research topics
-Diligent and precise record keeping and measurements, utilizing both paper and digital databases
-Scheduling of distillations and brewing, managing stocks of raw materials
-Organization and adaptability
-Cross department communicating, education and presenting information through the facilitation of meetings
-Operation of packaging equipment.
