Worked on the energy optimization (electricity costs) of a manufacturing plant that produces electrical cabinets
○ Modeled a complex production scheduling problem using MILP formulations
○ Implemented the proposed formulations using an off-the-shelf solver (Java & Cplex)
○ Conducted experiments on real-data that showed a 10% potential reduction in the electricity bill
