About

This role sharpened both my communication skills and my understanding of client relationship management. I was able to hone my soft skills by translating complex financial jargon into simple client-updates. I conceptualized, pitched and implemented our firm's 'follow-up tracker' - a database used to monitor the onboarding progression of warm-leads, and a useful inhouse lead-conversion metric.

This database is now used firmwide (the phrase "are things still on track" has become a veiled reference to our inhouse KPI tool).

INVESTOR RELATIONS ASSOCIATE at WealthViser Private Wealth Management (2024-03 – Present)

BRAND AMBASSADOR – SEASONAL SALES at Canada Goose, CF Pacific Centre (2023-12 – 2024-02)

During my seasonal rotation as a brand ambassador for Canada Goose, I learned the fundamentals of sales. Starting with product knowledge, I learned how to act as a sort of 'matchmaker' rather than a salesperson – ensuring that the buyer leaves with a product that is well-tailored to both their pain-points and preferences. This role taught me the utility of being multi-lingual when in a client-facing role.

I have since enrolled in UBC's Chinese Language Program – on track to achieve verbal and written proficiency in Mandarin by Winter 2026.

RESEARCH ANALYST at Capital Core Financial (2021-03 – 2021-05)

I created easily digestible infographics and financial models, analyzing large volumes of fiscal public filings. This role taught me the skill of time management in a virtual professional setting.

JUNIOR RESEARCH ANALYST at Capital Core Financial (2018-06 – 2018-08)

I researched and presented the portfolio reconfigurations that the firm implemented during their 2019 fiscal year.
