MSc Global Security graduate at the University of Glasgow, UK. Enthusiastic about matters of Defense, Security, and International Relations. I believe good IR work requires being worldly, so I have studied Security & IR at the EEAS, SHAPE, NATO Defense College, NATO HQ, and completed my MSc abroad at the University of Glasgow. Excited to do my part in making the world a better, safer place.
I am also a First-Class Honours graduate, a three-times SFU Dean's Honour Roll recipient, and an alumnus of the 2022 NATO Field School and Simulation Program: an intensive political science program which has provided me with hands-on learning experiences at NATO Headquarters, SHAPE, EU Military Staff HQ, European External Action Services, and NATO Strategic Communications Center of Excellence and the Canadian Delegation to the European Union.
Currently looking to work directly with Public Policy, Defence, and International Affairs.
Last summer, I had participated in the NATO Field School and Simulation program, where I had been trained in communication, diplomacy, and analysis by world-leading experts at NATO, SHAPE, and the EEAS. These practical studies involved simulations in problem-solving, decision-making, and consensus-building held at the NATO Defense College in Rome.
Additionally, I hold 1 year of clerical experience working at a Canada Post retail branch, where I learned to meet the demands of a high-volume, customer service role whilst balancing regulatory and policy requirements. Tasks included processing documents, sorting mail, preparing transfers, and dealing directly with clients.
Furthermore, throughout 2022 I had overseen a student organization with approximately 2000 members, where I had been deeply involved in creating action plans and fostering community engagement. This involved coordinating in-person and online events, designing banners and flyers, and leading announcements on social media.
This December, I completed my Master's of Science in Global Security at the University of Glasgow (UK), receiving the grade of First-Class Honours with Distinction. This is a rigorous International Relations (IR) degree which studies the intersection between Public Policy and Defence.
In 2022, I completed a BA in Political Science at Simon Fraser University, where I was a three-time recipient of the Dean's Honour Roll award.
