I am a 25 year old Irish native who moved to Calgary 1 year ago in search of new opportunities. I previously worked in a resort in Ireland called Centre Parcs and then as a duty manager in a hotel, where I found a passion for conference and events. I have a bachelors business Degree in tourism with event management and am in search of a job where I can excel and grow within the Event and travel industry.
From being a waitress in school, to working in Ireland first major resort in guest services to spending a summer working in a private beach club in New York. It’s fair to say I’ve had very Diverse jobs but all within events and hospitality. I pride myself on good customer service and experience in every job I have had. Event management and Customer service is where I feel most passionate about and Is what i incision doing long term. Being a conference manager in a 4 star hotel in Ireland really peaked my interest.
I completed my bachelors business degree in tourism with event management. This was completed in Sligo Institute of Technology in Ireland.
